MILTON-FREEWATER — The East End Rod & Gun Club will open its shooting range to the public this weekend and the next to allow hunters to sight-in their firearms.
The range will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
To accommodate Washington residents, the range will also be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 29 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 30.
The range can be reached from Milton-Freewater by turning east on Southeast Ninth Avenue, crossing the bridge over the Walla Walla River and then following County Road 564 past the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.
