600 block of West Birch Street, Tuesday or Wednesday. 2006 Silver PT Cruiser taken.

WW County Sheriff

22400 block of Reser Road, Wednesday overnight. Various children’s items from storage area.

10100 block of U.S. Highway 12, Dixie, over last two weeks. Stereo CD player from vehicle.

MF Police

400 block of Northeast Fifth Avenue, Thursday. Six different thefts from yards, vehicles or outbuildings reported. Items taken included binoculars, tire repair kids, GPS device and tools.

700 block of North Main Street, Thursday. Various items taken from vehicle.

COLLISIONs

WW Police

Rose Street and Ninth Avenue. Pickup hit tree and left scene. Driver later identified at landfill.

WW County Sheriff

State Route 124 near Snake River Vineyard, Thursday 8:57 a.m. Semi trailer loaded with hay caught fire. Deputies blocked west bound land and the put out fire with extinguisher. While conducting traffic later, deputy’s 2005 Crown Victoria police vehicle caught fire in the engine compartment. Cause not available.

M-F Rural Fire Dept.

Highway 11 at Ferndale Road, 8:30 a.m. Friday. Two vehicle accident with injury to one individual who was transported to Walla Walla General Hospital.

1000 block of North Main St. Gang graffiti on house.

Sam’s Stop & Shop, 1121 S. Main St. Gang graffiti.
