TOUCHET — Liberty Christian piled up 583 yards of offense and Mike Olson threw for six touchdowns as the Patriots handed Touchet a 54-14 Southeast 1B League football defeat here Friday afternoon.
The Indians answered Liberty Christian’s 20 first-half points with an Elias Martinez five-yard scramble with 6.5 seconds left in the half.
Octavio Preciado’s 2-point run made it 20-8 at halftime.
But the Patriots scored a quick third-quarter touchdown, and after an Indians three-and-out put two more scores on the board within 10 seconds midway through the third to go up 40-8.
Martinez hit Cori Ochoa for a six-yard touchdown with 2:33 left in the third, but could get no closer.
