Wolves fall in three to Warner Pacific

WALLA WALLA — A change of venue didn’t help the Walla Walla University Wolves Thursday night as they fell to Warner Pacific in three sets, 25-8, 29-27, and 25-10 in a match held at Walla Walla’s YMCA.

The Wolves struggled with a high-powered Warner Pacific attack that put up 41 kills in the three games, while notching only 14 kills themselves and committing 15 errors.

Emily Yip led Walla Walla with four kills on the night.

Courtney Zaro had three aces in the loss, whole Hannah Vyhmeister served up two. Vyhmeister also picked up 6 digs.

Holly Hunt had nine digs.

Walla Walla hosts Multnomah University Thursday at 6 p.m.
