BELLEVUE — Bellevue scored with six minutes left to force a 2-2 tie here Saturday in men’s NWAACC soccer action.
Walla Walla Community College grabbed a 2-1 lead on Max Smith’s second goal of the match in the 55th minute. Smith was assisted by Kentaro Bodzewski as the Warriors grabbed their first lead of the match.
Bellevue scored on a Bryan Forbes goal in the 29th minute, but Smith got the Warriors even in the 34th minute and the teams went to intermission deadlocked 1-1.
Smith put the Warriors ahead, but with the match running down, Bellevue’s Alex Kramer tied it with a goal in the 84th minute.
The tie drops WWCC to 6-0-2 overall and 1-0-2 in East Region play.
The Warriors travel to Spokane to meet East Region foe Spokane Wednesday.
