BELLEVUE — Bellevue Community College scored early in the second half here Saturday in NWAACC women’s soccer action and hung on to defeat Walla Walla Community College, 1-0.
Tatum Ross connected with Gabriella Rodriguez and Rodriguez sent the ball into the back of the Warrior net to give Bellevue a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute.
The Warriors couldn’t get anything past Bellevue keeper Sophie Rochow as Rochow posted the shutout.
The loss drops WWCC to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in East Region play. The Warriors travel to Spokane for a Wednesday East Region League match with Spokane.
