Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 00 block East Chestnut Street. Four medical marijuana plants from backyard.

CP Police

  • 400 block Southeast Birch Avenue. Money and handgun from residence.
  • 00 block Northeast Tremont Street. Gasoline from vehicle. Occurred sometime Sunday night.
  • 20 block Northeast Ivy Lane. Reported about 2:59 a.m. Sunday. Suspect entered residence, went through back yard and attempted to take a motorcycle. Juvenile male suspect caught by officer and placed under arrest.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 36000 block U.S. Highway 12. Chainsaw from business.


WW County Sheriff

  • Stateline Road about one mile east of Borrows Road, 8:26 p.m. Saturday. One-vehicle non-injury accident. Vehicle eastbound on road and drifted off roadway. Driver overcorrected and struck embankment on opposite side of road.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 317 E. Washington Ave., 11:42 p.m. Monday. Vehicle struck deer.


WW Police

  • Mikhail P. Mironov, 22, 767 S.E. Magnoni Dr., College Place, Monday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Fire, Ambulance runs

WW Fire Dist. 4

  • Motorcycle accident at Old Highway 12 and Wallula Road, 5:17 p.m. Monday. One person transported to hospital for treatment.


MF Police

  • Graffiti reported on train bridge at North Columbia Street and Northeast Eighth Avenue.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • Dayton High School, 614 N. Third St., Dayton. Grass torn up and marks left on sidewalk and steps by wheeled vehicle.
