ECHO — The Helix Grizzlies volleyball team was taken in three sets by the Echo Cougars, 25-16, 25-17 and 25-15, Tuesday night.
“We struggled tonight,” Helix coach Tammie Parker said. “We just didn’t have the focus. We need to find a way to bring the way we practice into games.”
The Grizzlies served only 73 percent. Helix had 13 serving errors as a team.
“We’re not going to win with that many serving errors,” Parker said.
The Grizzlies (1-9, 0-2 league) play again against Stanfield and the hosting Irrigon Knights starting at 5 p.m. Thursday.
