WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights volleyball team fell to Asotin here Thursday 25-21, 25-17, 24-26, 17-25.
The Knights (1-1 league, 2-2 overall) was led by Megan Gregg with 19 kills. Rylee Sutton had 15 assists and Amy Arnzen had a team-leading 16 digs.
Hannah Woolever had an ace and was 11-for-13 serving, while Megan Gregg was 12-for-14 serving.
“I was pleased with how our team stayed with it throughout the match,” WWVA coach Scott Schafer said. “It is so easy in a match like this to get down on one another. But despite some miscommunication they kept the tenor of the game positive which will help us going forward.”
The next match for the Knights is Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Tri-City Prep.
