SPOKANE — The Walla Walla Community College men’s soccer team edged Spokane here Wednesday, 2-1, while the Warrior women played the Sasquatch to 1-all tie.
Walla Walla’s Kyle Menchaca opened WWCC’s men’s scoring five minutes in off an assist by Jhony Mendoza.
Ivan Chamorro made it 2-0 at the 35-minute mark.
Isaacc Peter scored Spokane’s lone goal 60 minutes in.
On the women’s side, Tash Anderson put WWCC up 1-0 an hour in off an assist from Marais Hicks, but three minutes last Tasha Luu tied it up for the Sasquatch.
