Just how suicidal are we? Once again today the air is so full of smoke that we are in twilight with the sun a burning penny in the sky. This is because so much of our state is on fire.
Nevertheless, there are three riding lawn mowers going on my street. The crew at the YMCA has a leaf blower as well as does guy who walks down the alley behind my house every morning.
These tasks could probably wait until the smoke they produce isn't trapped by the same inversion that chokes us with burning smoke -- or maybe they don't need to be done so often at all -- if someone thought about it.
