Navigation locks at two dams operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be temporarily closed Tuesday for maintenance.
The lock at Ice Harbor Dam on the Snake River near Burbank will close from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for inspection of the downstream lock gate wheels.
The lock at McNary Dam on the Columbia River near Umatilla will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow workers to install instrumentation on the downstream lock gate.
