Walla Walla

A resident of the 200 block of Brock Street reported his rear house window was broken.

Two padlocks and a door knob were damaged during an attempted burglary at Powerwash Car Wash on West Main Street.

A camera valued at $600 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Boyer Avenue.

Columbia County

Clark Simpfenderfer, 47, was transported to Dayton General Hospital after a deer reportedly crashed into the side of his motorcycle on State Route 261, six miles southeast of Starbuck on Sunday.


Walla Walla County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Selena Bundy, 18, on investigation of first degree assault after she allegedly cut her boyfriend with a knife during an argument. Bundy told police she swung the knife after her boyfriend hit her, while the 19-year-old man told deputies he struck Bundy after she cut him. Bundy had a first appearance in court this morning, and bail was set at $10,000.


A 26-year-old woman reported someone threw a “device” at her house in the 100 block of Cherry Street. Police confiscated a black-powder-filled glass tube that had a cork stuck in one end. According to a Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office report, the sparkler fuse burned out before the device ignited.


Apparent gang graffiti reported on vehicle in the 500 block of Northwest Fourth Avenue.

Gang-related graffiti reported on garage in the 400 block of Tara Street.

Safeway employees reported gang graffiti on a fence in the store parking lot.

Umatilla County

Suspects unknown reportedly shot the windows out of a motor home parked on Birch Creek Road.

A Weston woman reported a prowler rang her front doorbell at roughly 3:34 a.m., Thursday.

Three pickup trucks reportedly broken into on Powerline Road while the owners were hiking in the woods.


WW Police

Trisha E. Gatlin, 40, 58 Bo Ave., Prescott, Saturday. Charge: investigation of felony violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

WW County Sheriff

Selena Bundy, 18, 113 Wheatland Drive, Waitsburg, Sunday. Charge: investigation of first degree assault.

Jason C. Taylor, 33, 1262 S.W. Caves St., Saturday. Charge: investigation of unlawful issuance of checks, first degree theft and second degree theft.
