WALLA WALLA — The Blue Mountain Audubon Society’s prowl for owls will be 6-8:30 tonight . The parking lot at Bennington Lake will be the starting point.
Organizers Mike and MerryLynn Denny have planned a two-hour hike along the 2½-mile trail around the lake, to look for spring arrivals and other birds. Later the group will listen for owls.
Warm clothing for a cool evening is suggested, and binoculars and a flashlight should be brought. The tour will cancel if there is inclement weather.
There is no charge for this evening of owl watching. More information can be found at www.blumtn.org.
