Walla Walla

A would-be shoplifter fled when confronted by the manager of Safeway in Plaza Way, dropping $116 worth of food and DVDs.

A resident of Washington School Apartmenst reported someone stole a $300 CD player and a tire pressure gauge from his vehicle.

Police arrested a woman on warrants after she attempted to shoplift items from Super One Foods.

A Winnebago Street man reported a theft of an inside door panel from his 1977 Ford pickup truck.

A woman reported someon stole her phone after she set it down for “just five minutes” while attempting to catch her dog at Pioneer Park.

A 5-year-old cat allegedly bit a 58-year-old woman.

Walla Walla County

A caregiver reported her employer’s vehicle stolen from the Walla Walla Airport.

A Waitsburg man reported a battery and half a tank of fuel were stolen from his truck.

College Place

A Southeast 12th Street man reported a man propositioned him at his home Sunday afternoon.

A Scenic View Drive resident reported a car stereo system stolen.

A vacant home was reportedly burglarized in the 700 block of Southeast Creekside Drive.

A prowler reportedly took items from a car in the 400 block of Southeast Birch Avenue.


Report of check forgery on East Richmond Avenue.

A dog reportedlhy bit a woman in the 700 block of West Commercial Street.

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted 17 traffic stops over the weekend, and issued seven speeding tickets.

A motorist reportedly struck a parked vehicle in the 500 block of East Tremont Street, then fled the scene.

A concerned citizen reported a telephone scam.

Vandalism reported to a gate on South Fifth Street


A woman reported keys were stolen from her vehicle in the 1000 block of Northeast Third Avenue.

Tires reportedly slashed in the 200 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue.

A Northeast First Avenue resident reported items were stolen from her vehicle.

Umatilla County

Burglary and theft of items from a home on Prunedale Road in Milton-Freewater reported.

A landowner reported people trespassing and tearing up private roads around Langdon Lake whith four-wheel drive vehicles.

A man reported he lost his Irish wolfhound dog named Dan near milepost 3 in Highway 204, Weston.

A report of 15 untended goats along the roadway near Ballou Road and Highway 11 in Milton-Freewater.


WW Police

Susan Rosalez, 38, 1118 N. Buchan St., Sunday. Charge: investigation of felony violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

Angelita S. Castillo, 18, 1023 Lowden Street, Sunday. Charge: Investigation of driving while intoxicated.

MF Police

Brandon Leomarcellis Tessman, 27, 335 Preston Ave., Waitsburg, Saturday. Charge: investigation of distribution of methamphetamine.
