A new Food Truck Night promises a convoy of local cuisine.
The owners of Bacon & Eggs will host their first Food Truck Night next month as homage to the community’s mobile meal-makers.
All the trucks that can fit in the parking lot at 503 E. Main St. will be situated for service at Bacon & Eggs, said Michelle Adams, who owns the business with partner Michelle Giannunzio. Participating trucks already signed on for the event are: La Monarca, West of the Blues BBQ, Smokehouse Wenches, Doghouse Grill, Titus Creek Café and Andrae’s Kitchen.
The event runs 5-9 p.m. May 6. During that time, Adams said Bacon & Eggs will be open for beverages and general use of the building. The restaurant is typically closed during evenings. Adams said if Food Truck Night is well-received it could become a monthly event.
