Classes to show how to provide sexual health training for youths

WALLA WALLA — Classes for professionals and for parents on sexual health training for youths will be held at the Walla Walla County Health Department, 314 W. Main St. in the upstairs room. Cynthia Morrison, MA ABS, from the Washington state Department of Health, will conduct the classes.

The parent’s course will be 9 a.m. to noon on April 27. Morrison will discuss what sexual health looks like, how to promote sexual health in youth and how to talk to your children about it.

The class for health-care providers, counselors and those who work with youths will be 8:30-4 p.m. on April 26. CME credits have been applied for with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Call 509-524-2625 for more details and to reserve a space.
