Key Technology hires new CFO


WALLA WALLA — Key Technology has appointed Jeffrey T. Siegal as vice president and chief financial officer, the company announced this morning.

Siegal will be responsibile for providing guidance and analysis for all financial aspects of Key’s global industrial process and inspection equipment manufacturing business.

For the past five years Siegal has served as the chief financial officer and treasurer for Schmitt Industries Inc., a Portland, Ore.,-based marketer of measurement and process control systems.

“Jeff’s valuable experiences and knowledge are a strong fit for Key, and will provide real benefit as we continue to transform our company for the future and implement our long-term strategy,” Jack Ehren, president and chief executive of Key, said in a prepared statement.

Siegal holds a bachelor of arts in business administration and accounting from San Jose State University. He is also a certified public accountant.
