DAYTON — The Port of Columbia and the Dayton Chamber of Commerce will meet Wednesday to discuss agricultural tourism.
The public meeting starts at 4 p.m. in the Delany Building, 111 S. 3rd Street.
Chamber Executive Director Brad McMasters, Port Manager Jennie Dickinson and local businesswoman Janet Phinney of The Horse Fellowship have met previously to identify area stakeholders engaged in agricultural tourism activities or might be interested in doing so. They hope to discuss marketing and promotions strategy for agricultural tourism, as well as a timeline for implementing plans.
