The nonprofit organization that promotes art in the community is bringing an exhibit called “Art Squared” to Walla Walla.
ArtWalla has issued a call for artists to participate in the small works show and sale coming to downtown in October.
The organization is seeking 50 artists to produce 10 original works each on 6-inch-by-6-inch wooden art boards that will be supplied by ArtWalla.
The end result will be a showcase of hundreds of pieces of original art, according to the announcement.
Each piece will be sold for $36, a portion of which will benefit ArtWalla’s commitment to art education. Participants must be 18 or older and pay a $20 entry fee. The deadline is May 31, or when a maximum of 50 artists have registered. A request for registration materials may be made by emailing Marilee Schiff at firstname.lastname@example.org or by visiting the ArtWalla Facebook page.
