PASCO — Los Flacos will perform in a free concert from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Sacajawea State Park, 2503 Sacajawea Park Road.
The group interprets songs and rhythms from a variety of regions and countries, including Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina and Colombia.
The music is played on traditional instruments such as cuatro, quinta, quena, violin, zampona and the Vera Cruz harp.
The band will be joined by a traditional dancer performing percussive dance on tarima, an instrument like a wooden drum, which is played by the feet instead of the hands.
The concert is free to the public.
Sunday is a State Parks “free” day, meaning Discover Pass is not required for vehicle access to any state park on that day.
The concert is accessible to persons with disabilities. For special accommodations, call in advance to make arrangements at 509-545-2361 (English) or 509-429-6808 (Spanish).
Those who are hearing or speech impaired may call the Washington Telecommunications Relay Service, at 800-833-6388.
