Lyle Lovett & His Large Band to play at Wildhorse

PENDLETON — Lyle Lovett & His Large Band will be in concert 6 p.m. Sunday on the Wildhorse outdoor concert stage, Wildhorse Resort & Casino, 46510 Wildhorse Blvd. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Lovett, known primarily as a county singer, also writes songs and has acted in a number of movies.

His songs include a range of genres such as swing, jazz, blues and gospel, according to Internet sources.

Active since 1980, he has recorded more than 15 albums and released more than 20 singles, including his highest entry, the No. 10 chart hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Cowboy Man.”

Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album.

“It’s Not Big It’s Large” was released in 2007, where it debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart.

Premium seating is sold out. Lawn seating is $20.

Ticket will call is located at Club Wild in the casino. Valid identification is required to pick up tickets.

Low-profile lawn chairs and personal umbrellas are allowed in the general seating in the lawn area.

Outside food, drinks and coolers are not allowed. Children 5 years old and older require a ticket to enter.
