Walla Walla

Bottle of liquor shoplifted from Safeway on Rose Street.

Three soda machines in the Walla Walla area were reportedly lit on fire in an effort to steal coins. The estimated repair cost for one damaged machine at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds is $500.

A Valley Transit bus driver struck another motorist while attempting to change lanes to pick up a passenger: no injuries reported. No citations issued.

Stereo reportedly stolen from a car in the 00 block of East Chestnut Street.

Walla Walla County

Burglary reported at Builder’s Re-supply: $65 taken from cash register. The cost to replace the damaged till is estimated at $300.

Milton-Freewater

Window broken in the area of Northeast Sixth Avenue and Robbins Street.

Theft of medication reported at Horizon Project of Milton-Freewater.

Bicycle reportedly stolen in the 100 block of South Elizabeth Street.

Boat reportedly stolen near Stateline Road and Highway 11.

Theft of items from a home on East Ballou Road.

Garage burglarized on Highway 339: tools and other items stolen.

Yamaha three-wheeler reportedly stolen on Hurst Lane.

Timothy J. Wilbur, 39, 1204 E. Broadway Avenue, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.
