Several vehicles and possible a boat in the Eastgate area were struck by a hit-and-run driver today around 2 a.m. today. Details from city police were unavailable, but a report by an assisting deputed stated a dozen vehicles were hit. The hit and-run collisions occurred on Francis, Cascade and University streets.
Walla Walla Valley BMX reported a burglary of its concession trailer. According to track operator Rod Forss, the suspects entered sometime Wednesday overnight by kicking in an air-conditioning unit. They took, chips, candy, sodas, frozen foods and a $1,400 BMX bike.
