resignation: Define process to fill remaining term of council Position 2 seat due to resignation of Councilman Alexander Scott.

zoning: Approve resolution to establish height and spacing standards for pedestrian lighting and streetside trees in the Downtown Mixed Use Zone.

transportation: Updates on joint application with Walla Walla County on Taumarson Road project, on urban arterial application for portion of the College Avenue-Rose Street Reconstruction Project.

grant: Approve submission of grant application to state Transportation Improvement Board for overlay project to preserve road surface of College Avenue between Lamperti Avenue and State Route 125.

cars project: Authorize city administration to execute agreement with Associated Appraisers to complete project funding estimate for College Avenue-Rose Street Reconstruction Project.

COLLEGE PLACE school Board

When: Thursday. Meeting begins at 7 p.m.

milton-Freewater city council

Senior and Disabled Taxi: Approve permit application for taxi service.

Wood Chipper: Approve $25,900 wood chipper purchase from RDO Equipment Company of Portland.

grass Mower: Approve $50,113 purchase from RMT Equipment of Troutdale, Oreg.

Police Vehicle: Approve $25,732 purchase of police interceptor sedan from Tom Denchel Ford Country of Pendleton.

Wastewater: Approve $2 million grant and $1.35 million loan from state for repair to wastewater digester.

Athena-Weston School Board

When: Monday, 7 p.m.

Where: Weston-McEwen High School library

REPORTS: Hear reports from ESD representative, CTUIR representative and district superintendent; and reports on elementary school, middle school curriculum and high school assessment.

ACTION ITEMS: Declare School Board position No. 7 vacant; milk bids; set 2013-14 graduation date; and personnel, student, attendance and reporting policies.
