WALLA WALLA — City Council members will get their first official look at the city’s new website during a work session this afternoon.
Last year, city officials contracted with Walla Walla Web Weavers for an $18,675 remake of the website that includes close to 140 separate web pages.
The city website serves as a portal for dozens municipal functions, including leaving feedback, contacting Council members, reviewing agendas and minutes, accessing bid requests and other city forms.
The contract with Web Weavers approved last year also included a $3,350 annual fee for website maintenance.
The site is now undergoing a “soft release,” where the site is accessible but not yet officially released.
