WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla Cougar Club is throwing a party to kick off the Washington State football season Tuesday at Sapolil Cellars in Walla Walla at 5:30 p.m.

Former WSU defensive back and radio personality Paul Sorensen will be in attendance. Sorensen, who was team MVP and co-captain in 1981, is a current member of the Spokane Cougar Club.

The club will also be discussing the 2013 Walla Walla Cougar Golf Tournament, set for Sept. 20 at the Walla Walla Country Club. Participants at the Cougar Golf Tournament get to compete alongside current golfers from the WSU golf team.

The club will also be organizing a WSU Football Bus this season for every home football game. The bus will stop in Walla Walla, Dayton and Touchet and everyone is welcome to ride. The bus costs $25 per person and is BYOB.

The bus will arrive in Pullman 2.5 hours before kickoff and depart 30 minutes after the game ends.

Signups for the bus begin Tuesday at the Cougar party.
