Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today, unless otherwise noted.

Walla Walla

Police arrested a 28-year-old man for shoplifting shorts from Shopko.

A fight broke out at Heritage Park after a 31-year-old man urinated in front of witnesses who told police several children were present. Police arrested the man, who was reportedly intoxicated.

Two-vehicle collision on East Alder Street near Division Avenue: no injuries reported. Police issued a citation to one motorist for making a U-turn.

Two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Ninth Avenue and Poplar Street: no injuries reported.

Police arrested a 34-year-old man after receiving a report of a domestic dispute at K-mart. When officers arrived, the man attempted to flee, running across Mill Creek and several yards before he was apprehended on Brock Street. The 34-year-old was placed under arrest on investigation of obstructing officers, criminal trespass, reckless driving, driving while suspended and a warrant.

Walla Walla County

A 56-year-old called police to report he was assaulted at Walla Walla Nursery. After a brief investigation, including reviewing video footage captured by employees at the business, deputies told the man he would face trespassing charges if he returned to the property. Deputies reported the fight started over water issues.

Theft of medication reported in the 100 block of York Street.


Towels and toilet paper removed from restrooms and scattered at Dayton city park.

Car reportedly egged in the 1000 block of South Fourth Street.

Police arrested a 44-year-old man for domestic violence in the 300 block of North Front Street.


Packages reportedly stolen in the 200 block of Northwest Eighth Avenue.

Car trailer, along with evaporators and condensers from a cold storage unit, and pumps and motors off of trailers reported stolen from the 52000 block of Stephens Road.
