Annual Hometown Revival

at Pataha Flour Mill

POMEROY — Pataha Flour Mill, 50 Hutchens Hill Road, will host the annual Hometown Revival, an old-time Gospel sing, at 3 p.m. Aug. 25.

The revival will feature Gospel music and inspiring words. Ted and Annie Cook, Launy and Sug Schwartzman, Paul and Judy Guenther, Juyne Bowles plus Lewiston and Walla Walla Valley musicians will perform.

The revival will conclude about 5 p.m., followed by a share-a-meal supper, so bring a dish to share. Free will donations will be accepted. For more information, call 509-843-3799.

Area churches offer free

lunch Monday-Saturday

WALLA WALLA — Free lunches are available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in various churches as follows: Monday at Pioneer United Methodist, 209 E. Birch St.; Tuesday and Thursday at St. Paul’s Episcopal, 323 Catherine St.; Wednesday at First Congregational, 73 S. Palouse St., and Friday at New Beginnings Chapel, 822 W. Main St. From from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Saturday, Good Neighbor Church, 343 S. Third Ave., will provide lunch.
