Matthieu Carbonnier, 31, Richland, was sentenced Aug. 9 on one count each attempted residential burglary and third-degree theft. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $250 jury demand fee, $31.40 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, 30 days converted to 240 hours community service supervised by the Department of Corrections work crew, six months community custody and 240 hours community service. On July 23 Carbonnier pleaded guilty to the charges and agreed that the court may review the police reports and the statement of probable cause to establish a factual basis for his plea.

Tomas S. Mora, 41, 1419 S. Fourth Ave., was sentenced Aug. 12 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $82.75 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $1,000 violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fee, 183 days in the county jail, credit for 46 days served, 30 days converted to 240 hours community service supervised by the Department of Corrections, 12 months community custody. On July 30 Mora pleaded guilty to possession of a small amount of methamphetamine on June 26.

Ryan P. Timmons, 26, transient, was sentenced Aug. 12 on one count second-degree possession of stolen property and five counts second-degree vehicle prowling. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 120 days total confinement in the county jail, credit for 68 days served, 364 days for each vehicle prowling count to be concurrent and suspended on condition of his compliance with additional sentencing conditions. On July 29 Timmons pleaded guilty to knowing possession of a stolen access device that belonged to another and withholding it from that person with intent to commit a crime against property and unlawfully entering five vehicles, all on June 5.
