Teresa M. Young of Priest River, Idaho, and formerly of Hermiston, passed away Aug. 13, 2013, at the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane at the age of 45 years.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at 9 a.m. in the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Teresa Young Memorial Grant Fund through the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862.
Teresa was born June 27, 1968, in Pasco, the daughter of Donald and Myralee E. Cofer Albert. She grew up in Hermiston. On March 9, 1991, she married Kevin Young in Hermiston. Teresa had worked as a banker and most recently as a third-grade teacher. She was a devoted wife and mother who impacted many lives. Teresa loved being around people and being a blessing to all. She enjoyed church, camping, gardening and service to others. She was a member of the House of the Lord. Teresa also served as a Mary Kay consultant for over 27 years and was the owner of a trucking company for the last 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Young; children, Faith, Elisabeth and Jeremy Young; father, Donald Albert of Hermiston; two sisters, Michelle Christy of Hermiston, Lorie Freshman of Portland; and two nieces. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother.
