Dunham Cellars plans three-day celebration to kick off Friday


Dunham Cellars is getting into the spirit of harvest.

The Walla Walla winery is preparing for its fourth annual Dunham Days event, a three-day celebration with music, food, wine and art.

The event kicks off Friday in the winery’s Hangar Lounge, 150 E. Boeing Ave. at the Walla Walla Regional Airport industrial park. From 6 to 10 p.m. Dunham Cellars will host Whiskey Creek Band. Food from Andrae’s Kitchen and Molly MaGruder’s Greek cuisine will be available for purchase, along with wine.

The festivities continue Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with vertical tastings from the library by winemakers Eric Dunham and Dan Wampfler. Eric Dunham’s new art series will be available, as will metal and glass pieces from Montana artist Lee Proctor. There will be a $10 tasting fee for additional tasting those days.
