Longtime Walla Walla resident,
Floyd Henline, 52, passed away August 17, 2013, at Providence St. Mary Medical
Center. Floyd was born July 22, 1961, in Walla Walla, to George and Willie M.
(Nations) Henline. He graduated from Wa-Hi in 1979 and completed the auto
body program at Walla Walla Community College in 1993. On June 25, 1996, he and Tina L. Mize married at the Green Gables Mansion in Walla Walla. He worked as manager of the Auto Body Shop at Dayl Graves. Floyd loved fishing, camping and boating. Known for his sense of humor, his favorite hobby was teasing. A kind and compassionate gentleman, he was a loving father to Jarod and Karissa and grandpa to Jameson.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Tina; daughter, Karissa L. Rivera; son, Jarod Scott Henline; his father, George Bryce Henline; mother, Willie Shepherd; aunt, Parthenia Gable; sisters: Ronda J. Fenster, Jill Patrick and Julie Waters; brother, Paul Henline; nephews: Charles, Evan, Jeffrey and Daniel; best friends, Kevin Ramer, Rob Gallo and many more. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Marie Henline.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, Washington. Pastor Steve Morris will officiate.
