Plans for a major remodel are cooking up at T. Maccarone’s.
The downtown Walla Walla restaurant will close its doors Monday for a weeklong makeover that will amount to much more than a fresh coat of paint, owner Tom Maccarone said.
A redesigned dining space, modern architectural elements and booth-style seating will be part of the new look at 4 N. Colville St. when the wine country bistro with Italian roots reopens for dinner at 5 p.m. next Tuesday.
The changeover is billed as part of an eighth anniversary celebration.
“Eight years of business is a huge accomplishment and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with a fresh new look,” said owner Tom Maccarone in a prepared statement. “T. Maccarone’s is a fantastic meeting place, and we want its feel to always be as vibrant as the food, and community, we serve.”
