A vacuum cleaner salesman reported he was threatened by a man wielding a golf club. The golf enthusiast reportedly objected to the attempted sale of a vacuum cleaner to his mother.
An employee of The Foodmart reported a female customer threw ice-water on another woman in the store.
A gun was reported stolen from a house in the 900 block of South Main Street.
A Umapine woman received a letter informing her that she won a quarter-of-a-million dollars in the lottery. The letter contained a check for $4,250 and a note instructing her to deposit the check, then withdraw $3,850 for processing fees.
