Pheasants Forever chapter to benefit from sales of auto repair manuals - Etcetera - 8/21/13

For all those car fanciers and mechanics out there, Jim Sonne, president of the Pheasants Forever Blue Mountain Chapter 258, came into some automobile and truck repair manuals ranging from 1935 to the late 1980s.

The good news is he’s offering them for $20 each. The proceeds will benefit the local habitat group’s youth programs.

The Pheasants Forever Ringnecks program strives to “foster and nurture an enduring interest in shooting sports, wildlife conservation and upland game bird hunting in America’s young people.”

Membership is open to all young people interested in the outdoors and conservation. They don’t have to be hunters.

Manuals Jim has on hand are:

Chilton: Ford-Mercury-Repair, 1968 to 1988, & 1971 to 1985, Auto Repair, 1964, 1968, 1975 and 1981 to 1988, Motorcycle Troubleshooting, 1968.

Motor Auto Repair, 1960, 1962, 1968, 1972, and 1935 plus; Truck and Diesel, 1974 plus.

Glenn’s Auto Repair, 1957 to 1966.

Petersen’s: Mopar Story, Plymouth, Dodge and Chrysler, approximately 1960 to 1988, Tune Up.

H.P. Brooks Small-Block Chevy, 265 to 400 cubic inches.

Ford Car/Truck repair manual, 1982,Ford Performance,1979.

Mercedes-Benz repair manual, 1968 to 1972.

Chevy miscellaneous information up to 1975.

The 20th edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” lists Walla Wallans James K. Hayner and John M. Reese, according to a release
