RICHLAND — The 17th Annual Tumbleweed Music Festival will be from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday at Howard Amon Park, Richland. The acoustic music event is free.
There will be nonstop music on four stages, 100 performers, plus music workshops.
The Saturday evening concert will feature Tania Opland and Mike Freeman, Dan Weber and The Righteous Mothers. Admission to the concert is $10.
There will be a contra dance at 8 p.m. Sunday called by Dan Clark of Walla Walla. The music for the dance will be provided by the Juniper Bush Huggers. Admission will be charged for the dance.
There will be a silent auction held for the banjo, concertinas and some sound equipment once owned by the late Steve Guthe, who was a well known musician in the northwest.
