Air Force Airman Oscar D. Baza from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Baza completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Baza is the son of Nicolasa Baza of Walla Walla. He is a 2012 graduate of Walla Walla High School.

Army National Guard Warrant Officer One Jacob K. Radke from helicopter flight training at Ft. Rucker, Ala.

Radke received training in helicopter overwater survival, primary and advanced flight training, basic combat skills, cargo and night operations and other subjects.

Radke is currently a Chinook pilot with Detachment 1, Bravo Company, 168 Aviation, Oregon Army National Guard, Pendleton.

He is the son of Robert Radke of Walla Walla and Bonnie Perry of Wenatchee.

Aspen Morrow of Kennewick, Oct. 11, from the Air Force boot camp training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Aspen’s parents are Travis and Livia Morrow of Kennewick. He is a 2013 Kamiakin High School graduate.
