2014 budget: Continue public hearings on approval of county’s 2014 property tax levies for current expense, emergency medical services, road fund and veterans assistance and 2014 budget. Action on items may follow.

surplus: Approve resolution to declare used equipment from county Technology Services as surplus to allow for disposal or recycling.

Personnel: Formalize county 2014 contribution for employee health benefits and approve Health Reimbursement Arrangement and Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association Employer Adoption Agreement. Also approve Bilingual Incentive Program Department Request forms.

public works: Hold public hearings on franchise requests from Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council and Nathanael and Wendi Small to construct, operate and maintain utility systems within county road right of way. Matter scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Action on items may follow.

equipment: Approve purchase of a Walk-N-Roll Packer/Roller from low bidder.


work session: Reports and miscellaneous business. No formal action scheduled.

comprehensive plan: Update on city’s Comprehensive Plan and proposed amendments for 2014.

ANNEXATION: Set date for public hearing on proposed annexation requested by the Mercado family of 1,54 acres if property located at 915 Spitzenberg St.

MUNICIPAL COURT: Consider authorization for mayor to terminate College Place Municipal Court and have its functions assumed by Walla Walla County District Court contingent upon approval of interlocal agreement with city of Walla Walla and Walla Walla County.

Where: 8 S.W. Eighth Ave., Public Library Albee Room.

Donation funding: Review proposal to donate portion or all of $2,000 derived from liquidation of surplus items to local food bank or heating bill relief program.

Infrastructure repair: Authorize financing loan from Oregon Infrastructure Finance Authority for $2 million grant for repairs to wastewater treatment plant.
