Margaret Dacres Ball, age 91, of Washington State, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Marge was born Feb. 9, 1922 in Walla Walla, the daughter of George and Esther (Nibler) Dacres. She married Howard Ball on April 8, 1943, in Walla Walla; he passed away Nov. 20, 1989. Marge saw the world as an Air Force wife, then as an educator’s wife. She and Howard made so many friends along their journey – she cherished them all. After Howard’s death in 1989, Marge moved back to Washington. She married Joe Doetsch in 1994; he passed away in 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Colleen (Thomas) Post, Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Frank, Kevin Post, and Patrick (Susan) Post; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Megan, Marshall, Savannah, Reagan, and Hudson; sister, Cassie Whinihan, Seattle; brother, Jean (Joan) Dacres, Sioux City, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard and Joe; brothers, James, George, Francis David, and Paul; and son, Kevin Ball.
A mass of christian burial for Marge Ball will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Father John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the hour of mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
