A great evening of music took place on the second Sunday in December. It was an experience that makes your heart glad.
The community came together and ushered in Christmas with a concert featuring the schools and colleges in this area.
This is totally my opinion, but Sharpstein Elementary School students wowed the audience with songs that came from their heart. Way to go guys.
Also the solos from Walla Walla High School cello and bongo drums were unique and entertaining.
However, Walla Walla University, Wa-Hi and Walla Walla Music Society Choirs did an excellent job. By the way, the audience was able to sing many Christmas carols as well.
Just want to acknowledge Whitman College and the Union-Bulletin for sponsoring this concert at Cordiner Hall.
All the performers and all of the conductors did an outstanding presentation.
There were some empty seats; you should have been there. As I walked out into the cold air, positive comments were made.
