Average gasoline price dips in Washington, holds in Oregon

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Although still higher than the national average, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is down a penny over the past week, he AAA auto club reports.

The $3.31 price for a gallon of regular is 8 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from the AAA’s Monday survey: Bellingham $3.39, Bremerton $3.32, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.72, Tacoma $3.31, Olympia $3.31, Vancouver $3.28, Yakima $3.28, Tri-Cities $3.18, Spokane $3.15.

In Oregon, the the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is $3.28.

That’s the same as a week ago and down 2 cents in a month. It’s 5 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices: Portland $3.28, Salem $3.24, Eugene-Springfield $3.31, and Medford-Ashland $3.33.
