Walla Walla

Blue Ridge Elementary went into lockdown Friday at 2 p.m. after a number of women attending a holiday concert got into a fight. The report identified one suspect, one victim and stated a fight took place between “numerous female parents.” The cause was not reported or if any arrests were made.

Strange noises in a laundry room at Blue Mountain View Apartments, 150 S. Wilbur Ave., resulted in the arrest of a man and woman on burglary and theft charges. Police reported taking Brandon W. Fisher, 27, of Walla Walla and Desiree Lynn Conley-Sibbett, 22, into custody at the scene for theft and burglary charges.

A two-vehicle, noninjury collision occurred Saturday at 8:44 a.m. in the 300 block of Roosevelt Street.

A two-vehicle, noninjury collision occurred Thursday 4:57 p.m. at the 300 block of West Main Street.

Walla Walla County

A two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred at Highway 125 Friday 10:55 a.m. approximately two miles south of Walla Walla. Injured and transported to Walla Walla General Hospital was Beatriz Camarena, 52, of Milton-Freewater. Injured and treated at the scene was Laura G. Reiber, 60, of Walla Walla. According to reports, Reiber was stopped at a red light when she was struck by Camarena.


Victoria Miranda-Artiaga, 90, address unknown, remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of Wilbur Avenue and Alder Street Thursday 7:49 a.m. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call Detective Eric Knudson at 524-4405.
