Tri-Cities Prep destroys Dayton, 63-19

DAYTON — The Dayton boys basketball team lost to Tri-Cities Prep 63-19 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs only mustered eight first half points, as the Jaguars posted 29 during the opening half. Dayton head coach Roy Ramirez credited Tri-Cities Prep for their defensive intensity.

“They just came out and overwhelmed us,” he said. “We weren’t ready to go. We had a lot of turnovers. We didn’t take care of the ball. They jumped on us early and we couldn’t get anything done. They played a very good defensive game and hopefully we’ll get better for the next one.”
