Mac-Hi girls fall to Baker 48-22

BAKER — Twenty six turnovers and three total points in the first half spelled doom for the Mac-Hi Pioneers, who fell to Baker, 48-22, Saturday in Greater Oregon League girls basketball.

The Pioneers (0-6 GOL) got 11 points and five rebounds from Makia Carlson.

“We got off to a super slow start,” Mac-Hi coach Nicole Christian said, “We got fired up in the second half but we couldn’t fully recover from the first half.”

Mac-Hi plays again Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Riverside.
