WALLA WALLA — As Walla Walla General Hospital continues to undergo renovation, its cafeteria will see some temporary schedule and menu changes, starting Tuesday. The dining room and serving area will be closed about a month. The kitchen will still be operational during this time, but food service delivery will be altered. A temporary cafeteria will be set up in the new lobby near the new administration offices.
Changes include no breakfast service, lunch available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accommodate tighter serving and dining space, and a la carte service offered from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for patients and employees.
Full closure of the dining area allows completion of the construction in this area in less than half the time it would take otherwise, said Kristi Spurgeon Johnson, hospital spokeswoman.
