Pomeroy Council members are Dennis Gillis, Donna Hunt, James Fuchs, Alesia Ruchert and Kaye Carlson. With Gillis absent Tuesday, the council:
WATER: Heard a report on the ongoing water study project by TD&H/Progressive Engineering, and was asked to prioritize projects. City Superintendent Kenny Landkammer will determine city’s priorities. The council authorized the mayor to reimburse $287.37 TD&H/Progressive Engineering.
LIGHTING: Voted to authorize the mayor to sign an agreement with the Department of Transportation to pay $36,000 to Riedesel Engineering, and authorized the mayor to sign the contract with Crea Construction for $326,900 and the notice to proceed for the lighting upgrade on Main Street. Unanimous.
BUDGET: Approved Ordinance 867, which amended the 2012 budget.
