WALLA WALLA — Wa-Hi landed three wrestlers on the Mid-Columbia 2013 All-Conference Wrestling team released Monday.
Logan Reardon was the school’s lone selection to the first team.
Reardon, a senior who wrestles at 220 pounds, compiled a 30-2 regular season record and won two matches at districts Saturday to grab the league’s first seed to the regional tournament in Spokane.
Junior Wil Babbitt earned second-team honors in the 126-pound weight class. Babbitt earned the league’s second seed to regionals after falling to Pasco’s Brandon Gonzales in the title match at the district tournament, 12-1.
Noe Gonzales, a junior, earned honorable mention at 120. Gonzales is taking the MCC’s third seed to regionals after going 3-1 at districts.
Chiawana’s Jack Anderson was named MCC coach of the year.
Timmy Martinez, a sophomore from Pasco, was named the lower-weight wrestler of the year, while Southridge’s Kevin Del Angel, a senior, earned the upper-weight wrestler of the year.
Chiawana earned the most first-team honors with five.
