Charles D.K. Smith, 30, 109 Main St., Waitsburg, was charged Feb. 5 with second-degree assault — domestic violence. Smith is accused of assaulting a person on Feb. 3.
Rael L. Almiron Carman, 21, 412 S. Eighth Ave., was charged Feb. 5 with possessing a stolen firearm, first-degree possessing stolen property, violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, and four counts of second-degree possessing stolen property. Almiron Carman is accused of knowingly possessing a stolen pistol and other stolen items between June 1 and Aug. 5; unlawfully possessing with intent to manufacture marijuana between June 1 and Aug. 5; and knowingly receiving, possessing, retaining, concealing or disposing of four stolen access devices last summer.
