MILTON-FREEWATER — Mac-Hi won a dual meet with Greater Oregon League foe Baker Thursday, 48-27.

The Pioneers, 10-4 in dual meets this year, battled to a draw through the first four matches thanks to a pair of Baker forfeits but closed the meet on a five-match kick to seal the victory.

“They beat a coupe kids at the start, but then we won the last five matches and that was a real positive,” Mac-Hi coach Beau Chester said. “We got a couple of forfeits, we gave a couple of forfeits, but overall our kids came out and wrestled really well today.”

The Pioneers wrestle next at the regional tournament in La Grande Feb. 15-16.
